Butterfly week (5)

Back with my final butterfly card this week. I planned to blog about this earlier - but I had a few other things on my mind the last days.  I hope you are having a great weekend!

This card is using the sweet stamp from the Hero Arts Greetings set.  And I can't stop using the Ampersand stamp - love it!! The blue silk ribbon seem a bit off the color scheme on the photo - does not look that bad IRL :-)

The Ampersand background is stamped on some lovely Bo Bunny paper...
I stamped a few additional tags using the Hero Arts shadow inks - good to have some for future use!

Thanks for stopping by this week! Have a good one!

Butterfly week (4)

A slightly different version of the card from the first day :-) for you today...

And here is an example of using that same butterfly stamp from Hero Arts - color it with copics (no fancy coloring), embossing with clear embossing powder. (I also colored the backside of the butterflies (solid with copics).

and finally pin it onto some flourist wire (using Ranger Powertape) - ready to use in a flower decoration of any kind...

Hey! Fluttering by with my 3rd card this week using butterflies! This is my husband's favorite - he is so sweet to care about my hobby, isn't he? ;))

And some details ....

Supplies
hero Arts /sizzix stamp /die set,  Hero Arts Happy Birthday, MFT butterfly die, EK Success scallop punch, Hero Arts layering paper, Bazzill kraft some misc pp.

Have a great day!

Butterfly week (2)

Hey there!

I am back with my 2nd butterfly card this week. This is with the same Newpaper background - but this time I made the butterflies with the MFT butterfly dies. They are so pretty and I love how they can be combined....

Another close up on the butterflies - the picture is taken on my rustic garden table (salvaged wood) - it almost look like driftwood, huh?

And here is the card for today!

Thanks so much for stopping by today - I enjoy reading your comments!

Butterfly week (1)

Hi there!

I was just making some butterfly cards during the weekend and thought " hey, let's make a butterfly week at the blog" :-)

So here is my first card using some yummy Hero Arts goodies. I used the stamp & die set "Butterflies" to stamp the butterfly - the die in this set cuts a small frame around the butterfly so I thought it would be great to handcut the stamped butterfly without leaving a frame and then diecut the additional textpaper butterfly.

This is the first time I've used the Newspaper background - and I just love it!

And that Ampersand stamp! Love it! I will use this on some home decor, too I think....

See you tomorrow - thanks for stopping by!

Hero Arts Flickr Scramble

Hello and happy Sunday !

Yesterday evening (late) there was another Hero Arts scramble (make a card in 90 minutes) hosted by Barb and the theme was flowers and diecuts.  I managed to make 2 cards ;)

Both were made with Hero Arts / Sizzix stamp/die sæts and some tone on tone stamping. I really like those frames, which are from this set.

This one I am not so happy with - but I uploaded it anyway! Given the short time frame,  I suppose it is okay ... there is something about the bow I don't like ;( Too thin....

The stamped flowers tone on tone is from this set.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Confirmation card for a girl

I think the sew sets from both Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn make perfect Confirmation cards for girls.
Here is one made with the Lawn Fawn stamp and some classic hero arts stamps.
Simple and fun to do! The text is in Danish is created by using Jessie's ABC stamp set.

Miss you card ;)

I don't think I have shared this card. A simple design really,  using up some scraps of paper and some simple stamping. The die cut border is made with this MFT die
I love how they cut a 6" border - easy to use on cards!

This card was also sent to the Danish soldier abroad (OSH)...

Anniversary card

I made this for my colleague who celebrated her 15 years anniversary at work. Since it is at a Telecom company it had to be phones ;)) The nostalgic kind ;)
